Student-focused social commerce platform TimBuckdo attracts Rs.2.70 Cr
Bengaluru-based TimBuckdo has raised INR 2.70 crore in a funding round from Sandesh Sharda, Turbostart, Anupam Bansal, Arjun Vaidya, Shaili Chopra, Rukam Capital and the co-founders of Ideabaaz (an entrepreneurship-focused TV show).TimBuckdo is a student-first social commerce platform that aims to empower students to earn, upskill, and become financially self-reliant through gig opportunities. The platform provides AI-driven job matching, dynamic in-store discounts via QR codes, a campus ambassador network, and full-stack tools for digitising campus events and activities.The company intends to use the capital to strengthen its student community and facilitate the adoption of gig work. Furthermore, the funds will be allocated towards accelerating the platform's next phase, including its AI-led student engine and expanding its operations across campuses nationwide.
