Sun Pharma to acquire 26% in digital diagnostic devices maker Agatsa for Rs.30-Cr
Pharmaceutical company Sun Pharma has acquired a 26.09% stake in Noida-headquartered Agatsa Software Pvt Ltd, an early-stage digital diagnostic devices company, for INR 30 crore. The acquisition will be made in two tranches. Tranche 1 of INR 8 crore would be completed in February 2023 and Tranche 2 of INR 22 crore would be completed by August 2023. Agatsa, incorporated in 2010, is engaged in the research & development and commercialization of medical devices (starting with wearable health monitoring solution named Sanket) in the diagnostic health segment. The company's revenue from operations for 2021-22 was INR 44 lakh (down from INR 2.2 Cr in FY21).
