Sundaram Alternates raises Rs.1,200-Cr for performing credit opportunities fund
Sundaram Alternates , the alternative investment arm of Sundaram Finance Group, has raised INR 1,200 crore through the final close of its Performing Credit Opportunities Fund (PCOF) Series I. The fund, structured as a close-ended Category II AIF, received commitments from high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional investors.PCOF Series I focuses on senior secured private credit investments in mid-market Indian businesses, with portfolios spanning sectors such as manufacturing, healthcare, consumer, BFSI, and clean energy. The fund has deployed over 85% of its capital.The private credit platform has successfully raised nearly INR 7,500 crore across various credit strategies, completing over 130 deals. The current portfolio is claimed to track gross returns exceeding 15%.
