Sustainability platform Tapfin raises $4-M from Elevar Equity

Mumbai-based sustainability platform Tapfin, which focuses on providing a variety of services including financing and insurance to startups and MSMEs within the sustainability ecosystem, has secured USD 4 million in seed funding led by Elevar Equity. The company plans to use the new capital to expand its market reach, and enhance its team. Presently operational in metros like Mumbai and Delhi NCR and Bangalore, Tapfin intends to expand its presence into tier 2 and tier 3 cities across India.Founded in 2023 by Terniza Berry, Aditya Singh, and Pramod Marar, Tapfin, apart from facilitating financing and insurance, also aims to create an ecosystem to offer services such as demand aggregation, market linkages, other value-added services. Currently focusing on the clean mobility sector, Tapfin aims to gradually diversify into other verticals such as solar energy and other renewable technologies.
