Sustainable packaging co. Econovus raises Rs.40-Cr led by Rainmatter
Pune-based Econovus Packaging has raised INR 40 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by Rainmatter by Zerodha, with participation from Rockstud Capital.Founded in 2019 by Ramesh Prasad, the company provides end-to-end packaging and design solutions. The portfolio of the company includes lithium-ion battery packaging, heavy-duty export packaging, returnable and expendable packaging, and automotive packaging across CKD, SKD, and CBU formats.Econovus’ solutions aim to reduce logistics costs, improve container utilisation, and lower the carbon footprint for clients in sectors such as electronics, clean energy, industrial machinery, and electrical equipment.The company plans to use the new funds to expand into high-growth sectors, extending its sustainable packaging platform across automotive, lithium-ion batteries, solar infrastructure, steel, defence, and broader industrial supply chains.
