Sustainable packaging solutions provider Bambrew raises Rs.90-Cr
Bengaluru-based Bambrew , a sustainable packaging solutions provider, has raised INR 90 crore (about USD 10.3 million) in a fresh funding round led by Ashok Goel, former Managing Director of Essel Propack, and Japanese venture capital firm Enrission India Capital.The fresh funds will be used by the firm to accelerate innovation, scale manufacturing, and expand its footprint in the Middle East and North America.Founded in 2019 by Vaibhav Anant, Bambrew specialises in performance-grade alternatives to single-use plastics. Its materials are claimed to be home-compostable and durable.
Between Oct-20 and Mar-24, Bambrew had attracted about USD 11.16 M from Blue Ashva Capital, Blume Ventures, Capital A and others.For FY24, Bambrew had reported about INR 19.33 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 17.15 Cr in Net Loss.
