Sustainable packaging solutions provider Bumboo raises funding
New Delhi-based sustainable packaging solutions provider Bumboo has raised its first round of funding from angel investors including Rohan Bhargava, Saurabh Gupta, Shashank Bijapur, Rajneil Kamath, Harikrishnan M, Sridhar V, and Rajat Jain.The funds will be used by the company for expansion in both India and abroad.Founded in 2019 by Anirudh Balakrishnan, Rohit Keshan, and Praveen Kumar Bumboo recycles agricultural waste like sugarcane bagasse and wheat straw into sustainable packaging solutions. The company currently offers 50 plastic alternatives, and serves the food service, catering, cloud kitchen and food delivery segments.
