Symbiotec Pharmalab’s Rs.1,757-Cr IPO subscribed 56.97 times
The Rs.1,757-Cr initial public offering (IPO) of Indore-based Symbiotec Pharmalab has been subscribed 56.97 times. The Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) portion was subscribed 124.72 times, while the Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs) and Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) segments saw subscriptions of 72.07 times and 12.02 times, respectively. The company has set the price band between INR 938 and INR 988 per share.Founded in 2002, Symbiotec Pharmalab manufactures active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), nutritional ingredients, and speciality healthcare products. It operates a backward-integrated manufacturing platform that serves clients within international regulated markets.The firm intends to use the net proceeds from the fresh issue segment of the IPO to prepay or repay certain outstanding borrowings and for general corporate purposes.
Between Sep 2011 and Dec 2018, Symbiotec Pharmalab had attracted about $ 137 M from Franklin Templeton Private Equity Strategy Fund, Actis, InvAscent, Motilal Oswal Alternates.For FY25, Symbiotec Pharmalab had reported about INR 757 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 146 Cr in PAT.
