Telecom infra focused Astrome Tech raises $10-M
Bengaluru-based Astrome Technologies , a deep-tech startup focused on accelerating 5G and rural telecommunication infrastructure deployment, has raised USD 10 million led by Apollo Fund, with follow-on investments from IAN Group. The funds will be used to advance Astrome's innovative wireless connectivity technologies, scale operations, expand product lines, and enter the satellite communication (satcom) market. The funding will also be used to increase production capacity and develop solutions for a global audience.Astrome’s flagship product, GigaMesh, integrates with optical fibre systems, enabling 5G and 6G connectivity. Key features, including electronic auto link alignment and point-to-multipoint connectivity, are claimed to provide faster deployment, reduced costs, and improved network performance.
