Telehealth platform Truemeds raises $20-M more from Peak XV

Telehealth platform Truemeds has raised additional funding of USD 20 million (around INR 174.33 crore) as part of its ongoing Series C round from new investor Peak XV Partners. This investment is an extension of the USD 44 million raised by the company in March this year.The firm has allotted 19,737 Series C2 compulsory convertible preference shares (CCPS) to Peak XV Partners at INR 88,331 each.Founded in 2018 by Akshat Nayyar and Kunal Wani, Truemeds helps the users to discover alternative brands available for prescribed medicines through the prescriptions they upload.

Between May 2020 and Mar 2025, Truemeds had attracted about USD 71.7-M from Accel India, Asha Impact, IAN Fund, Info Edge, WestBridge and others.For FY24, Truemeds had reported about INR 324.77 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 61 Cr in Net Loss.
