Chennai-based edtech startup EdgeUp has raised INR 8 crore (around USD 1 million) in seed funding.Founded in 2024 by Jubran Siddique and Khalid Mohamed, the founders of Zaryah Angels, EdgeUp is a learning platform designed to enhance coaching institutes’ efficiency and student outcomes by using AI-driven analytics, and real-time performance tracking. It currently partners with coaching centres for UPSC and state-level exams in Tamil Nadu.The startup will use the new funds to strengthen its technology, scale product, enhance AI functionalities, and broaden access for students preparing for exams such as UPSC, JEE, NEET and banking.
