Three space-tech startups seek fresh capital

Three space-tech firms - Kolkata-based Sisir Radar , Hyderabad-based Sanyark Space , and Ahmedabad-based PierSight - are seeking new capital.Founded in 2020 by Dr. Tapan Misra, Soumya Tapan Misra and Urmi Misra, Sisir Radar develops Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) systems that can be mounted on drones, UAVs, aircraft, and satellites for high-resolution imaging and surveillance. It counts 360 ONE Asset and Shastra VC as investors and is currently looking to raise USD 20 million.Founded in 2025 by Raghava Kundrapu and Akhileshwar Peseke, Sanyark Space is in the process of raising USD 10 million in a venture capital round, with participation expected from existing investors Avaana Capital and AUM Ventures. The firm intends to use these funds for a satellite launch scheduled for the fourth quarter and to deploy three additional satellites.Founded in 2023 by Gaurav Seth and Vinit Bansal, PierSight focuses on maritime and defence segments. It had previously raised USD 8 million in seed funding from investors, including Boundless Ventures. The firm now looks to raise between USD 20 million and USD 25 million.
Between Jan 2025 and Dec 2025, Sisir Radar had attracted about USD 8.55 M from 360 ONE, Shastra VC, Kairos Capital, MGA Ventures, Pegasus Fininvest, Riverwalk Holdings, Shastra VC and others.For FY25, Sisir Radar had reported about INR 2 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 0.52 Cr in Net Loss.In Jan 2026, Sanyark Space had attracted capital from AUM Ventures.Between Sep 2023 and Apr 2026, PierSight had attracted about USD 9.60 M from All In Capital, Alpha Wave Global, Elevation Capital, Boundless Ventures, CE-Ventures, Siana Capital and others.
