Tiger Global exits entertainment firm The Viral Fever
Private equity firm Tiger Global Management has made a full exit from Mumbai-based digital entertainment company The Viral Fever . The firm sold a stake of 40% to a group of investors, including Lighthouse India Fund-I, Frontier Globecap Ventures, and LC Nueva Advisors. The transaction valued the company at USD 22 million.Founded in 2012 by Arunabh Kumar, The Viral Fever produces original web series and content.
Tiger Global first invested in The Viral Fever in Dec 2015 and subsequently in Jul 2017, Jun 2018 and May 2019.
