Tissue-engg focused biotech co. Pandorum raises Rs.71.5 Cr from Trufort Fund, others

Bengaluru-based biotech company Pandorum Technologies has raised an additional INR 71.5 crore (USD 8 million) in its ongoing Series B round led by Trufort Fund Ltd. The round also saw participation from the Gauri Khan Family Trust, Protons Corporate, Noblevast Advisory, Saumik Doshi, Avinya Ventures, Auraplus Services, Gyan Enterprises, Milind Bafna, and Rajaram Ajgaonkar.Founded in 2011 by Arun Chandru and Tuhin Bhowmick, Pandorum Technologies develops lab-grown human tissues for drug discovery and regenerative medicine. The company offers engineered liver and corneal models built on its proprietary bioprinting platform for pharmaceutical testing and research.The new funds will be used to support the company's operational needs, fund expansion initiatives, and provide financial backing to its wholly owned subsidiaries.

Between Feb 2018 and Nov 2025, Pandorum Technologies had attracted about USD 35 M from Hero Enterprises, IAN Fund, KITVEN, Kotak Alternate, Xeed Ventures, Ashish Kacholia and others.
