Toffee Coffee Roasters raises Rs.5-Cr pre-series A

Mumbai-based Toffee Coffee Roasters has raised INR 5 Cr in a pre-Series A funding round led by IPV, with participation from 66 bridge partners, Abhijit Vemuganti, and Invesst.Co-founded in 2019 by Rishabh Nigam and Nandini Shrivastava, Toffee Coffee Roasters began as a specialty coffee cafe and pivoted in 2020 to delivering freshly roasted coffees across India and has since expanded to serve over 2 lakh customers. The company operates from a 10,000 sqft roastery where it sources, processes, roasts, and delivers coffees. It produces over 5 tonnes of coffee monthly, with more than 40,000 units consumed.The startup plans to use the new funds to expand operations, enhance and enlarge its backend roastery, improve packaging quality, and develop new products as it continues to grow its portfolio.
