TPG sells 6.66% stake in health-tech co. Aster DM Quality Care for Rs.4,451-Cr

Private equity firm TPG, through its affiliate Centella Mauritius Holdings, has sold a 6.66% stake in Hyderabad-based Aster DM Quality Care for INR 4,451.45 crore via an open market transaction. The shares were offloaded at an average price of INR 766.17 apiece. Following the transaction, the equity stake held by Centella Mauritius Holdings in the company decreased from 9.90% to 3.24%.Aster DM Quality Care is a healthcare services provider. The firm intends to use the proceeds from this transaction as part of the broader reshuffling of the company’s shareholder base.

For FY26, Aster DM Healthcare had reported about INR 2,616 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 268 Cr in PAT.
