Transition VC’s first fund raises 70% of target corpus
Bengaluru-based Transition Venture Capital 's first fund has been subscribed to around 65-70% to date. The fund will raise the remaining part from foreign institutions such as the development finance institutions (DFIs) from Europe.So far, Transition VC has deployed about INR 55 crore from the fund. The firm has invested in hydrogen fuel cell startup Protonas. It plans to focus on Long-Duration Energy Storage (LDES) technologies that can complement the intermittent availability of renewable energy sources like solar and wind.
