Travel fintech co. Scapia raises $63-M led by General Catalyst

Bengaluru-based travel-fintech startup Scapia has raised USD 63 million in a funding round led by General Catalyst. The round also saw participation from existing investors Peak XV Partners and Z47.Founded in 2022 by Anil Goteti, Scapia provides a travel ecosystem integrated with financial products, including co-branded credit cards issued in partnership with Federal Bank and BOBCARD. The company has also introduced features, such as the Scapia Pay UPI service, add-on credit cards, and a rewards-based platform for flight and stay bookings.The new funds will be used to strengthen its brand, advance artificial intelligence initiatives, and hire personnel across engineering, product, data science, and design departments.

Between Jun 2022 and Mar 2025, Scapia had attracted about $73 M from Tanglin Venture Partners, Three State Ventures, Z47, Elevation Capital, Peak XV Partners and others.For FY25, Scapia had reported about INR 29 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 83 Cr in Net Loss.
