Truckers' marketplace Vahak raises $14-M from Nexus, others
Bengaluru-based road transport logistics startup Vahak has raised USD 14 million from Nexus Venture Partners, Foundamental, iSeed Ventures, Leo Capital, RTP Global, and Titan Capital. The funding would be used for acquiring new users, technology, for building value-added services such as fuel cards, insurance, GPS, and for purchase of spare parts. Vahak is a free-to-use, open marketplace for shippers and transport SMEs to connect with truckers. It claims to help truck drivers earn more by increasing truck utilization. Since March 2020, Vahak has raised USD 20.3 million.
