TrueNorth exits Aster DM Healthcare by selling shares worth Rs.128-Cr, registers 1.45x return

PE investor TrueNorth has sold a 1.33% stake in publicly listed Aster DM Healthcare realising INR 128.31 crore on Apr 7, 2022. Assuming the investor sold its remaining 23,823 equity shares, TrueNorth would make a 1.45x return on its investment in the company.

From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: In Feb 2008, TrueNorth invested INR 62.31 Cr in Aster DM. In May 2014, it invested INR 118.07 Cr and in Feb 2018, TrueNorth invested INR 87.77 Cr more. In Jun 2019, TrueNorth exited its investment - made from Fund III in Aster DM - with a 10.75x return.
