TVS Capital Funds raises Rs.3,500-Cr; to invest in enterprise-tech cos
TVS Capital Funds has raised commitments exceeding INR 3,500 crore for its latest vehicle, TVS Shriram Growth Fund IV, focusing on growth-stage enterprise technology and services companies. Including co-investments, the total capital pool for the fund is projected to be around INR 4,500-5,000 crore.The fund intends to make 15 new investments over the next four years, with an average cheque size of INR 300 crore. Its strategy is to capitalise on the AI-driven transformation within India's USD 283 billion software services industry. Key target areas include AI-first business process outsourcing startups, cybersecurity services, cloud and AI infrastructure enablers, and software companies generating USD 50-60 million in annual recurring revenue that plan to domicile and list in India.
