TVS Venu Group’s lifestyle platform Atelier Expressions to acquire majority stake in mithai brand Kh
Singapore-headquartered Atelier Expressions, the premium lifestyle platform of the TVS Venu group, is to acquire a majority stake in the New Delhi-based luxury handcrafted mithai brand, Lonestar Hospitality, which operates under the brand name Khoya . The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of August 2026.Founded in 2016 by Sid Mathur, Khoya creates traditional Indian mithai for contemporary consumers, often collaborating with food historians and academicians to refine its product offerings. The brand is set to join Atelier Expressions’ existing portfolio, which includes brands such as J.L. Coquet, Khadak, and Hedon. Sid Mathur will continue to lead the brand's operations and execution, supported by his current team.
Between 2022 and 2023, Khoya had attracted angel funding from Chef Ritu Dalmia's Riga Foods, Priya Paul, Pavninded Singh and Rashmi Vaswani.
