UK's BII appoints Manav Bansal as MD for India ops
British International Investment (BII - formerly the CDC Group), Britain's development finance institution (DFI) and impact investor, has appointed Manav Bansal as its Managing Director for India. Bansal will oversee the DFI's goal to invest up to USD 3 Billion in India over the next five years. Based in Mumbai, Bansal will report to MD and Head of Asia at BII, Srini Nagarajan. Bansal was most recently the CEO for Neev Fund. Earlier, he worked for KPMG and PwC, leading initiatives for corporate advisory, cross-border M&A, and policy advisory to governments.
