Unicorn India to sell stake in 6 cos to US-fund for Rs.50-Cr

Early-stage investment firm Unicorn India Ventures is selling its stake in six startups to a Delaware US-based fund run by tech entrepreneurs, for INR 50 crore. The companies are robotics startup Genrobotics, cybersecurity firm Sequretek, customer experience analytics startup Clootrack, digital business publication INC42, digital media startup Inntot, and healthcare startup NeuroEquilibrium. , The deal has reportedly provided a 2x return to the firm's 2016 vintage first fund of INR 100 crore, (which was deployed across 17 startups). The fund's lifecycle ends early next year. The firm had exited two companies earlier: ecommerce personalisation startup Boxx.ai in 2019 and pharmaceutical supply chain startup Pharmarack in 2021.
