Unicorn India Ventures closes Fund III at Rs.1,200-Cr

Mumbai-based Unicorn India Ventures has closed its third fund at INR 1,200 Cr, exceeding its initial target of INR 1,000 Cr. Limited Partners in Fund III include SIDBI, SBI, Nabard, and the state governments of Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, and Odisha, apart from HNIs, UHNIs and family offices.Fund III will make 20 investments, with an average ticket size of INR 10-15 Cr, and plans to announce four investments in quantum sensing, agritech, and spacetech. Overall, the fund will focus on investments in semiconductors, spacetech, and AI infrastructure, explicitly moving away from AI applications (SaaS) to concentrate on foundational AI infrastructure like data centers, power, and enabling technologies.
