Upskilling platform Scaler in talks with Tiger Global, Sequoia to raise $100-M

Edtech startup Scaler Academy is in talks with existing investors Tiger Global and Sequoia Capital to raise USD70-100 million in a new funding round. Scaler has so far raised USD 21.5 million (about INR 156 crore) from investors such as Sequoia India, Tiger Global, Global Founders Capital and Rocket Internet. Launched in April 2019, Scaler claims that its revenues have jumped 200% over pre-Covid-19 levels and it is operationally profitable. Scaler helps working professionals upgrade their skills and grow in their respective careers. So far, more than 7,500 people have joined Scaler's educational programmes.
