US-based Ethos Asset Management to enter Indian market
Ethos Asset Management, a US-based private investment firm that provides long-term project finance, is to begin investing in India. It is in talks to invest USD 22 million across two companies. The firm has allocated USD 50 million and USD 28 million for lending to India's energy and infrastructure sectors, respectively. Ethos plans to focus on five sectors - infrastructure, energy, agribusiness, manufacturing, and information technology - and aims to deploy around USD 1 Billion in India over the next five years.
