Vegetarian pet food brand Dogsee Chew raises $7-M from Sixth Sense Ventures
Bengaluru-based natural pet food brand Dogsee Chew has raised USD 7 million in a seed round from Sixth Sense Ventures. It will use the investment to expand its footprint in India as well as in developed markets and accelerate new product development and manufacturing. Founded by husband-wife duo Bhupendra Khanal and Sneh Sharma, Dogsee Chew makes 100% vegetarian hard cheese dog chews. It has over 30 SKUs and a sales volume of over 100 tonnes per month. The product is present in 5,000+ retail stores across 30 countries. The firm employs about 10,000 farmers, mostly from remote hilly terrains with limited employment options.
