Bengaluru-based Venomics AI has raised USD 2.7 million in a pre-seed funding round co-led by Speciale Invest and South Park Commons, with participation from Operators Studio.Founded in 2026 by Kartik Sunagar and Vinay Prabhu, the firm is a spin-out of Indian Institute of Science (IISc) that combines venom biology, molecular sequencing, AI, and experimental screening to discover and develop venom-derived therapeutic leads.The company plans to use the new funds to grow its molecular dataset, and strengthen its AI and laboratory screening capabilities.
