Verlinvest, Mirchandani family, Sauce.vc invest $20-M in yoghurt brand Epigamia via secondary deal

Mumbai-based Epigamia has completed a secondary transaction of over USD 20 million. Verlinvest, the family of founder Rohan Mirchandani, and Sauce.vc have purchased shares from existing investors. The transaction enabled exits for DSG Consumer Partners, Deepika Padukone-led Ka Enterprises and angel investors.Founded in 2007 by Rohan Mirchandani, Uday Thakkar, Rahul Jain and Ganesh Krishnamoorthy, the Drums Food International-operated Epigamia sells Greek yoghurt, protein milkshakes, smoothies, and lactose-free products. The company plans to double its business every 24 to 30 months by strengthening backend operations and expanding its manufacturing capacity.

Between Jul 2016 and Oct 2022, Epigamia had attracted about $ 60 M from Danone Manifesto Ventures, DSG Consumer Partners, InnoVen Capital, Verlinvest, Mousse Partners, Anicut Capital, Others.
