Vernacular dating app Flutrr raises Rs.2-Cr from actor Huma Quereshi, others
Kolkata-based Flutrr has raised INR 2 crore from Bollywood actor Huma Qureshi and other angel investors including Sandeep Bhattacharya, former Global CMO Hoechst and Merck and Yogesh Mishra, Director PayPal USA.Flutrr? is a dating app that supports users in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi and Bengali languages to look for people with shared linguistic, traditional, and cultural interests.Founded in 2021 by father-son duo Kaushik Banerjee and Anirban Banerjee, the company has raised about USD 750,000 (INR 6.5 crore) from Times of India, The Chennai Angels, and executives from Google, SAP, Microsoft & DBS.
