Vernacular story-telling platform ThisDay raises $1-M from 9Unicorns, others

​​Delhi-based Ekank Technologies, which runs a vernacular storytelling platform called ThisDay, has raised USD 1 million from a clutch of investors, including 9Unicorns, Venture Catalysts, Titan Capital, Bharat Founders Fund Syndicate, and Sujeet Kumar, cofounder of Udaan. The company plans to use the funds to support and strengthen its technological capabilities and invite more storytellers across formats to the platform. It also plans to expand its team across all departments.
