Veterinary clinic chain Dr. Paws raises Rs.29-Cr led by Chiratae Ventures
Bengaluru-based Dr. Paws has raised INR 29.3 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by Chiratae Ventures with participation from existing investor Sauce VC. The total funding comprises INR 21.5 crore in equity and the balance in venture debt from Trifecta Capital and Stride Ventures.Founded in 2024 by Udit Gadkary and Rakesh Santhapur, Dr. Paws currently operates three clinics in Bengaluru, with two more centers planned for the city by the end of the year.The new funds will be used to expand its physical clinic network beyond Bengaluru, including adding nine new clinics by 2026 and entering new markets such as Hyderabad and Pune. The firm also plans to introduce at-home veterinary services, strengthen its management team, and invest in technology.
Between May 2024 and Oct 2025, Dr. Paws had attracted about USD 3 M from Panthera Peak Ventures, Sauce VC, Chiratae Ventures and others.
