Vistaar Finance raises Rs.1,360-Cr led by MO Alts; Westbridge, Saama, impact investors exit

Vistaar Financial Services , a Bengaluru-headquartered non-banking financial company (NBFC), has raised INR 1,360 crore from Motilal Oswal Alternates (MO Alts), ABC Impact, and others. The funding round included INR 870 crore in primary infusion and INR 490 crore in secondary deals. Early investors such as WestBridge Capital, Elevar Equity, Omidyar Network India and Saama Capital exited the company. Avendus Capital acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Vistaar and its shareholders on the transaction.Founded in 2010 by Brahmanand Hegde and Ramakrishna Nishtala, Vistaar provides capital access to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The fresh primary capital will be used for deepening the firm’s presence, product diversification, and strengthening brand positioning.

Between Apr 2010 and Jul 2023, Vistaar Finance had attracted about USD 461 M from Elevar Equity, Omidyar Network, Saama Capital, WestBridge and others.For FY24, Vistaar Finance had reported about INR 684 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 147 Cr in PAT.
