Vivriti Capital closes Series C round with $30-M from TVS Capital

Vivriti Capital, a Chennai-based NBFC focused on lending to mid-sized companies in India, has raised about USD 30 million from the TVS Capital managed TVS Shriram Growth Fund 3. Avendus Capital was the exclusive financial advisor to Vivriti Capital on this deal. The latest tranche closes Vivriti's Series C round which had raised USD 55 million in the first close of the round in March from existing investors Lightrock India and Creation Investments. It has raised around USD 200 million in external funding till date. The new funds raised are set to be allocated between Vivriti Capital and its subsidiary Vivriti Asset Management, an AMC that manages closed-ended debt funds. Vivriti Capital and Vivriti Asset Management together have around USD 700 million in Asset Under Management (AUM), and commitments and debt lines from over 300 debt investors, both global and domestic.
