Voice AI startup Bolna raises $6.3 M led by General Catalyst Smart power grids creator Enerzolve net
The new funds will be used to expand its engineering and deployment teams, invest in proprietary AI and machine learning systems for vernacular voice interactions, and enhance its enterprise-grade infrastructure to support high-volume production deployments.Bengaluru-based deep-tech startup Enerzolve Smart Technologies has raised USD 5.1 million (about INR 46.7 crore) in a seed round co-led by Jungle Ventures and Kae Capital, with participation from startup founders Amrit Acharya and Srinath Ramakrrushnan of Zetwerk, Ramakant Sharma of Livspace, Roman Saini and Gaurav Munjal of Unacademy, Amal Mishra of Urban Vault, and Nikhil Bhandarkar of Panthera Peak.Founded in 2024 by ex-Zetwerk executives Abhay Adya and Anupam Kumar Bhatt, Enerzolve builds embedded and power electronics systems for smart grids, renewables, and battery storage. The company provides semiconductor-powered energy solutions, offering products such as protection relays, smart meters, analysers, detectors, batteries, battery management systems, power conversion systems, energy management systems, and inverters for both industrial and commercial applications.The fresh capital will be used to scale pilot manufacturing and certification for its smart grid and storage product lines. Enerzolve also plans to invest in deepening its engineering and product capabilities, particularly in core IP development across embedded systems, firmware, and silicon.
