Warburg Pincus buys out pharma co. Integrace for Rs.1,200-Cr
Warburg Pincus has acquired Integrace , a Mumbai-based domestic formulations company specialising in orthopaedics and gynaecology. As part of the transaction, reportedly valued at INR 1,200 crore, existing PE investors True North and Temasek will fully exit. True North Fund VI LLP holds a 55.83% stake in Integrace, while Temasek arm V-Science Investments Pte owns 43.91%.Integrace manages a portfolio of more than 20 brands and has completed acquisitions of brands and businesses from Zydus and Glenmark over the last six years.Warburg Pincus has maintained a presence in the Indian healthcare sector for three decades, with a portfolio that includes investments in companies such as Laurus Labs, Meril Life Sciences, and Appasamy Associates.
Between Aug 2018 and Oct 2021, Integrace had attracted about $ 181 M from TrueNorth, Temasek.For FY25, Integrace had reported about INR 235 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 3 Cr in PAT.
