Warburg Pincus exits PVR by selling shares worth Rs.380-Cr, registers 1.35x return

Warburg Pincus has sold its 2.49% stake in publicly listed cinema exhibitor PVR fetching INR 380.37 crore. Post the latest sale, the investor has exited it's over 6-yr-old investment with a 1.35x return on its investment.

From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: In Jan 2017, Warburg Pincus had invested INR 824.23 Cr for a 14% stake in PVR. In Sep 2020, it invested additional INR 38.19 Cr.
