Warburg Pincus fully exits Home First Finance in Rs.1,307-Cr block deal

Private Equity firm Warburg Pincus has fully exited Mumbai-based, publicly listed affordable housing finance firm Home First Finance in a block deal, selling its stake worth USD 143 million at the lower end of the price range.Orange Clove Investments, a Warburg Pincus entity, sold its entire 10.3% stake in Home First Finance for INR 1,307 crore. It sold close to 11 million shares at INR 1,190.5 apiece.
Between Dec 2010 and Sep 2020, Home First Finance Company had raised about USD 287 M from Warburg Pincus, Bessemer, TrueNorth and Tata Capital Growth Fund.
