Warburg Pincus sells addl CAMS shares worth Rs.428 Cr, registers 3x return
Warburg Pincus has sold shares worth INR 428 crore in publicly-listed Computer Age Management Services Ltd (CAMS). Post the sale, the Warburg Pincus would hold an about 20% stake in the Chennai-based mutual funds Registrar and Transfer agent company.
From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: In Sep 2018, Warburg Pincus had invested INR 1,246.81 crore in CAMS. In Apr 2019, it invested additional INR 211.03 crore. The company went public in Sep 2020 and Warburg Pincus had made a partial exit just before the IPO.
