Warburg Pincus sells CAMS shares worth Rs.963-Cr, registers 3.37x return
Warburg Pincus has sold shares worth INR 963.19 crore in publicly listed Computer Age Management Services Ltd. (CAMS) on Dec 13, 2021. Post the latest sales, the investor would hold a 23.79% stake in the Chennai-based outsourced funds back office company.
From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: In Sep 2018, Warburg Pincus had invested INR 1,246.81 crore in CAMS. In Apr 2019, it invested additional INR 211.03 crore for 6.03% stake. The company went public in Sep 2020. Warburg Pincus had made one part exit just before the IPO.
