Warehouse automation startup Unbox Robotics raises $28-M from ICICI Venture, others

Pune-based warehouse automation startup Unbox Robotics has raised USD 28 million in a funding round led by ICICI Venture, with participation from RedStart Labs (InfoEdge), F-Prime, 3one4 Capital, Navam Capital, Force Ventures, and existing investors. The round includes primary and secondary capital, with part of the secondary funding providing employee liquidity via ESOPs.Founded in 2019 and based in Pune, Unbox builds modular, AI-driven robots using swarm intelligence for warehouse sorting. The company has deployed around 500 robots globally, mainly serving e-commerce, retail, and logistics clients. The funds will be used for product development, market expansion, and team growth.

Between Mar 2020 and Dec 2021, Unbox Robotics had attracted about USD 9 M from 3ONE4 Capital, Arali Ventures, Beenext, Info Edge, Shastra VC, Sixth Sense Ventures, WEH Ventures and others.
