Waste mgmt startup WeVOIS raises Rs.36-Cr from Negen Capital, Vyom Wealth, others
Jaipur-based waste management startup WeVOIS has raised INR 36 crore (USD 4.2 million) in a Series A funding round led by Negen Capital and Vyom Wealth (Polycab family office). The round also saw participation from Venture Catalysts, SN Capital, Warmup Ventures, Marsshot Ventures (Razorpay Founders’ Fund), and angel investors.The new funds will be used to scale the firm’s operations, expand partnerships and establish global benchmarks in waste management practices.Founded in 2018 by Abhishek Gupta and Abhinav Shekhar Vashistha, WeVOIS offers door-to-door waste collection solutions through an IoT-based mobile app that guides sanitation staff and informs citizens about collection schedules and allows them to track collection vehicles in real time.
