Waste to energy firm GGEPIL raises Rs.90-Cr from JM Financial PE

Surat-based Green Gene Enviro Protection and Infrastructure (GGEPIL), an environmental infrastructure company, has raised INR 90 crore from JM Financial Private Equity, SRF family office, and other investors. This investment was made through JM Financial India Growth Fund III.Founded in 2005, GGEPIL, a part of the Luthra Group, is engaged in the collection, treatment, and processing of industrial hazardous waste generated from various manufacturing sectors, including chemicals, pharmaceuticals, agro chemicals, and automotive. The company converts such waste into alternative energy.
