Wealthtech player Centricity attracts $20-M from Lightspeed, others

Gurugram-based wealthtech startup Centricity has raised USD 20 million in its seed funding round, led by Lightspeed, at a valuation of USD 125 million (around INR 1049 crore). The round also saw participation from Paramark Ventures, along with a clutch of family offices including those of Burmans, NB Ventures, MS Dhoni, MMG Group, Action Tesa. Angel investors who pitched in included Aakash Chaudhry, Ritesh Agarwal and Vishal Dhupar.The firm plans to deploy the fresh proceeds to scale up its technology stack, streamlining sales and for strategic acquisitions.Co-founded in 2022 by Manu Awasthy, Centricity offers plug-and-play solutions for IFA professionals looking to make the transition to the wealth management space. The firm has earlier raised USD 4 million in a pre-seed funding round in 2022.
