Wealthtech startup Smallcase raises $50-M led by Elev8
Bengaluru-based wealth management platform Smallcase has raised USD 50 million in a Series D round led by Elev8 Venture Partners with participation from State Street Global Advisors, Niveshaay AIF, Faering Capital, and Arkam Ventures.The fresh funds will be used by the company for expansion of its product offering, strengthening retail engagement and partnership with financial institutions.Founded in 2016 by Vasanth Kamath, Anugrah Srivastava, and Rohan Gupt, Smallcase offers various investment products to retail investors and platforms to the capital markets industry. It claims to have a customer base of 10+ million individual investors.
Between Dec-15 and Aug-21, smallcase had attracted about USD 66-M from Blume Ventures, Rainmatter Capital, WEH Ventures, Arkam Ventures, PeakXV Partners,Faering Capital, PremjiInvest,Others.
