Weave Capital launches $75-M fund for early-stage startups; aims at $20-M first close
Weave Capital, the venture capital arm of SPVH group, has launched a multi-stage VC fund with a corpus of USD 75 million along with a green shoe option of USD 25 million. It aims for a first close at USD 20 million. The fund will invest in startups looking to raise rounds between Seed+ stages and Series B round. The firm aims to build a portfolio of 15-20 startups with an average ticket size of USD 3-3.5 million. It will start investing post the first close.
