Wedding planning platform Event Planet Tech raises $250-K
Lucknow-based event and wedding aggregator platform Event Planet Technologies has raised USD 250,000 from USA-based investor Virendra Prasad, at a valuation of INR 30 crore.Founded in 2024 by Rohit Yagya, Event Planet helps users plan and book celebrations through structured and customised packages by partnering with verified vendors and curated venues. It claims to be active in 32 Indian cities and 8 international markets.The new funds will be used to expand into new markets and strengthen the firm’s proprietary package-based model. Event Planet will also expand its vendor network, upgrade its technology platform to enhance automation and personalisation, and launch marketing initiatives targeting destination event markets across South Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
