Wellness brand Nua raises $7-M more from Lightbox, Kae Capital, Deepika Padukone, others
Mumbai-based Lagom Labs Pvt Ltd, which offers women's wellness products under the brand Nua, has raised USD 7 million (INR 51.97 Cr) for a 22.84% stake from existing backers Lightbox (which contributed INR 36.58 Cr) and Kae Capital (INR 5.87 Cr) in its Series A2 round. The round also saw participation from Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone (via KA Enterprises LLP, which invested INR 3 Cr), Manvinder Banga (INR 1.46 Cr), LV Angel Fund (INR 0.94 Cr), Nua founder Projjol Banerjee (INR 73 lakh), Jigar K Shah (INR 3 lakh and Kaira Trust (INR 3.36 Cr- yet to be allotted). Post deal, Lightbox will own 37.09% of Nua; Kae Capital 14.09% and Deepika Padukone 1.31%. The founders Ravi Ramachandran and Prajoll Banerjee will hold 26.33% and 2.48% respectively. The company had reported a turnover of INR 4.67 Cr for FY20.
