WestBridge Capital acquires 15% in Edelweiss Asset Management for Rs.450-Cr

WestBridge Capital, via Setu AIF Trust, Konark Trust and MMPL Trust, has acquired a 15% stake in Edelweiss Asset Management , a wholly owned subsidiary of publicly listed Edelweiss Financial Services Ltd (EFSL) for INR 450 crore.Nomura Financial Advisory and Securities (India) acted as the exclusive financial advisor to EFSL and Khaitan & Co. acted as legal advisors to EFSL and Edelweiss MF. Trilegal acted as legal advisor to WestBridge Capital.
